Overview
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver. It is a natural outdoor venue carved from red sandstone between two 400-foot monoliths, and its sandstone bowl is a Denver-owned landmark used for concerts, Film on the Rocks, yoga and fitness series, and private events.
The venue sits just west of Denver in Morrison, Colorado (Jefferson County), making it part of the West of Denver Events footprint alongside Golden and Lakewood.
Amphitheatre non-event days: open one hour before sunrise and closed one hour after sunset. Event days: open one hour before sunrise to approximately 2 p.m.

Parking
- Free Red Rocks shuttles operate throughout the park; shuttle bus drop-off is located at the Top Circle lot, with shuttle pick-up available at the Top Circle at the end of shows.
- Shuttles loop the park (for example, to the Jurassic Lot).
- Upper South Lot: use Entrance 3 when directed.
- Lower South Lot 2: park as directed by Traffic Control Staff.
- North Lot: vehicles must park in a designated space upon arrival.

Food & drink at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Ship Rock Grille
Restaurant inside the Red Rocks Visitor Center, built around two massive boulders (inside and patio). Open daily 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas); on concert evenings open for dinner to ticket holders. Reservations via OpenTable up to 90 days out (reservation line 303-697-4939 ext. 4). Guests for the grille park in the Upper North Lot and enter via the Top Circle entrance; on concert days the amphitheatre usually closes to the public after lunch.

Bar behind the top plaza (presented by Jameson), accessible by outdoor staircase or through the Visitor Center's lower level — whiskey drinks with mountain views.
