Planning the weekend? See what's on across all nine towns.
About Arvada, Colorado
Arvada is one of the nine Front Range towns west of Denver on this site, and its live calendar leans on the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities at 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. The center pairs a 500-seat Main Stage theatre with an intimate Black Box Theatre, an Outdoor Amphitheatre and 10,000 square feet of exhibition space that is free and open to the public — which is why so much of what is listed in town is theatre, concerts and comedy in one of those rooms.
Olde Town is the other half of the story. The Arvada Farmers Market fills Olde Town Square at 5702 Olde Wadsworth Blvd every Sunday, 9 AM to 1 PM, with local produce, food vendors and live music, and it is listed as free. The district also hosts the annual Olde Town Shindig, a day of music through the historic blocks, and Olde Town's Trick or Treat Street, a family Halloween evening through the same streets.
Around Olde Town and out toward Candelas, Arvada pours well: twelve taprooms sit in the verified roster, including SomePlace Else, LUKI, Resolute, New Image, Odyssey Beerwerks, Kokopelli, Joyride, Ceria, Savoie, Colorado Tap House and Denver Beer Company's Olde Town taproom, most of them running weekly trivia, bingo, run clubs or live music. Parking at the Arvada Center is free, and Olde Town is a short drive up the road.
What follows is Arvada's current calendar rather than an evergreen guide, so listings rise and fall as owners and official sources confirm them, and every entry carries a source link you can check before you go.
