About this event
Ukemi is the Japanese art of taking a fall safely. In recent years, many older adults in Europe have begun training in this art to prevent injury. In this class for beginners, we will find center through meditation and Japanese yoga, warm up the body with light core exercises and stretches, then practice safe falling on a forgiving matted surface. Taught by Randy Thompson, 3rd degree blackbelt in Aikido, any questions email actionspeaklouder@gmail.com. Class will be in the Turf Gym. Register here to join Ukemi Level 2-Session 4.
